M.I.A. ........... old news...

...once again the team here at Fantasy disappears off the face of the Earth. Swarmed with work and new projects we have come to the realization that running this company requires a couple of bottles of uppers and some steroids. On the real, eighteen hour shifts are starting to really get to us.
no worries.... we are, yet again, in the midst of some major renovations and plans to do some overhauling throughout the whole company. With the addition of a new employee we have lightened the loads of our daily routines but are finding out that we need to continue expanding in order to get to where we need to be.
We plan on purchasing new machinery and are in the process of setting up an internship with UC Berkeley students who want to learn how to screen print and receive credits. Can you believe it? We might become teachers! ha..! or professors! shiiiieet... I can see Johnny boy now..... Professor Corpuz.... in his suit... Kenneth Cole Laptop bag... and of course his three feet of beautiful mane and hair. hooOo

On a serious note... more to come soon....keep posted with us...

outerlands, sf

did you know that arthur, dixon, derrick and i went to rival grammar schools in the sunset/parkside area? this is one of the million reasons why the sunset is so cool.

outerlands is yet another. located in the outer sunset next to ocean beach, this place is the kind of establishment that will change any sf neighborhood-snob into the biggest fan of this western region of 7x7. serving up local, organic and seasonal fare, this place is the perfect location to have weekend brunch or weekday lunch before taking a romantic stroll along the beach.

driftwood, beachy interior that makes you feel like you're seated in the heart of a big tree

fried egg and bacon open faced sammie with roasted anaheim peppers and provolone cheese (they exclusively serve zoe's meats)

an exceptional drink: hot ginger lemon apple cider

pastrami (perfectly marbled!), sauerkraut and swiss cheese sammie on thick pieces of smoky, charred bread

Derrick represents in the city....

Derrick's forte is focused primarily on a documentary style with a candid, journalistic approach to his photography but on a night filled with fun, laughter, and margaritas, our boy Derrick got another chance to show off why he's the one every couple wants at their wedding. With a crew of three and scheduled for a full 12-hour session, Derrick captured the evening of newly weds, Ivette and John Huldt, in full spectacle.

San Francisco has some of the most breathtaking landscapes and city views and Derrick wasted no time in capturing the city vibes with his on-location shoot. You can contact Derrick and see more of his work on his website, www.derrickjang.com.

FREsh bakEd: the "Shh...don't tell anyone what we did during our bachelorette party" tee

Baked fresh for our friend Irene for her bachelorette party are these wife beater tanks complete with detailed halftone dots which accentuate the vintage and subtlety of the water based print. Shhh.... don't worry.... we won't tell, Irene.......   (it's a good thing we installed little cameras on the shoulder straps...)

wayfare tavern

say hello to the new kid on the block...tyler florence's wayfare tavern.

while i was celebrating ___ years on earth, wayfare tavern was celebrating only a few weeks on the mean streets of san francisco. the restaurant is everything i love in a dining establishment: from the tastefully executed decor to the superbly presented dishes and traditional/local inspired cuisine...this place is so inviting that you'll want to lounge around here for hours. the place had the magical buzz of a thriving, new restaurant - a palpable and contagious energy in eager anticipation of the food to come. the same menu is served day and night so there is ample time for you to enjoy one of san francisco's newest and buzz worthy treasures. i mean, how many times have you watched tyler florence cook on the food network and wish you could reach inside the tv to grab that mouth-watering dish he prepared? here are the stand-outs from the night...

figs on a plate: luscious, fresh figs (fig season is my birthday gift from nature), roasted onions, fresh & creamy burrata, sunflower seeds and drizzled with a honey-black pepper dressing.

my 2nd favorite dish of the night - seared sonoma foie gras (sooooo buttery it should be illegal), roasted plums, grilled sourdough, tarragon and sea salt.

the best $11 i have ever spent: the occidental sour - macchu pisco, st. germain elderflower liquer, mondavi moscato d'oro, caramelized pineapple syrup, lemon, lim, egg white, peychaud's...all of the cocktails have the most charming names and by the look on everyone's faces, equally delectable. the cocktail menu was dreamt up from the famed cocktail ambassadors, the bon vivants (one of the founders is a si prep classmate...wildcats!).

not pictured: my favorite dish, and it was a SIDE ladies and gents...the creamed corn. we almost fell out of our chairs when the waitress let us know that there was absolutely no cream involved in creating this decadent, sinful and milky corn product that i learned only the freshest and sweetest corn can make when pureed. with the genius additions of smoked olive oil and chive blossoms, you too wouldn't have time to photograph something you attacked in 5 minutes.

street style

some of my favorite male street style shots from my favorite style blog, jak & jil.

love a man dressed all snazzy in tailored clothes...

but equally as hot is a man in a t-shirt...with a little (or in this case, a mountain of) personality.

marked and proud.

see how his t-shirt is elevated to another level with a rough edge blazer, nice slacks, an awesome belt (end tucked in) and accessorized to the max...

rugged yet simple; effortless but looks like he made an effort.

courtney
