the long and short of it...


(braised grass fed english short ribs + potato puree topped with chives)

i love dining out just as much as the next gal, but most of the time i love creating meals in the heart of my home that are as stylish and elegant as a restaurant meal. try this amazing recipe from one of my favorite kitchen gurus, the barefoot contessa, and let your taste buds be wined and dined. i omitted the tomato paste (forgot it at the market!), added brown sugar and finished off the sauce with two tablespoons of butter.
